Which is the Dopest Duo; Jadakiss & Styles P or Malice & Pusha T?

Personally, I love a good Hip Hop duo. As far as I’m concerned, two rappers feeding off of each other’s chemistry beat one lyricist any day. The type of duos that come to mind is Jadakiss and Styles P of The Lox and Malice (now, known as No Malice) and Pusher T of the Clipse. Let’s talk about it.

Yonkers New York-born, The Lox has build a strong reputation for being some of the premier lyricist in the game. Signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy imprint back in the mid-90’s, Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, and Styles P dispelled the myth, if there were one, that New York’s best rappers only came from the five boroughs.

“Money, Power, & Respect,” “Recognize,” and “Wild Out,” among others, are some of the many tracks the Yonker rappers laced.

Virginia Beach-based, Clipse were an elite duo in their own right in terms of rapping about cocaine distribution in the most lyrical form.  There were no Miss Mary Mack rhyme patterns with brothers No Malice and Pusha T.

“When the Last Time,” “Grindin’,” and “Popular Demand (Popeyes)” were some of the tracks that made us start rocking with the two Virginia brothers.

Due to Kiss and Styles dropping more songs as a duo throughout the years, we’ll leave Sheek Louch out of this debate.

Who’s the dopest duo?
