We all know about the legendary beef between Biggie and 2Pac. But Pac had beef with a number of other lesser known artists as well. Did you know that 2Pac is rumored to have butted heads with Keith Murray? The New York based rapper talked about the situation on Vlad TV in an effort to clean up the story.
Murray started by criticizing today’s prominent rappers for going at each other online instead of settling their scores in person. Murray then talked about how he and 2Pac talked out their own personal differences.
“The people on the video that shot it, we was at the Underground Hip Hop Awards and I was just saying the fact that niggas ain’t underground. Niggas don’t know nothing about underground. You know what I’m saying? I was talking about the Tupac incident when we had that little face-to-face confrontation. That’s underground. These underground dudes don’t have confrontations nowadays. You talk. I go see online. They talk about each other on Twitter or whatever. They beef and then they peace it out at the end. I’m from the era where you talk about me. We gonna see each other and something’s gonna happen. It ain’t no peacing out if you talking shit. When I see you we gonna deal with it…That’s what I was speaking about.”
Although Keith acknowledges that he had his differences with 2Pac, he states that there was no fight, despite media reports saying that there was an altercation. He said that the media embellished the meeting in order to get hits online.
