It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Ludacris, but the rapper has certainly shown us that there is plenty to do aside from music! Luda has ventured into movies and other business ventures throughout his 14 year career, and his seven studio albums aren’t too shabby either. Ludacris talked with HipHopDX about his career and he made a point to talk about growth.
“That journey is a lot of ups and downs,” Ludacris says in an interview with HipHopDX. “A lot of mistakes, learning from those mistakes, being in and out of groups and being in bad contracts…Just learning from everything. I think experience is the best teacher.”
Ludacris also talked to Billboard about the direction of his 8th album, which is rumored to be dropping as soon as this November.
“I can definitely tell you in a nutshell there are a bunch of songs that define moments and are very emotional just for the simple fact this will be my most personal album to date in terms of talking about a lot of things that have gone on in my life and just really diving into who Chris Bridges is as a person,” Luda recently told Billboard. “So that’s what Ludaversal is all about, it’s, ‘Welcome to my world, this is where I live, this is what I go through on a day-to-day basis.'”
