50 Cent and the rest of G-Unit made headlines when they dropped “The Beauty Of Independence,” their own, independent, EP. What most fans didn’t know was that G-Unit’s return wasn’t a one time thing—they are set to drop more music in the coming months. 50 Cent talked about the release of the new project, named “The Beast Is G-Unit.”
“The Beauty is six joints,” 50 Cent says in an interview with LA Leakers. “It’s broken into two pieces. The Beauty is the first half, The Beauty Of Independence. And then the second half, The Beast Is G-Unit, the second half.”
The Beast Is G-Unit has fans excited about the team’s new release, and after the group came back together at Summer Jam this year, there’s no telling how long the reunion will last. Here’s for hoping the group stays together for the long haul. For what it’s worth, 50 still says that it’s about making music.
“Music still means a lot,” he says. “It’s not about money.”
