We’ve all heard about 50 Cent’s challenge to Floyd Mayweather, daring him to read The Cat In The Hat or a Harry Potter page aloud. If that wasn’t enough, audio of Mayweather was subsequently leaked, showing the rapper painfully trying to read through a commercial drop. But it’s likely that we haven’t heard the last of 50 or Mayweather. Mayweather was approached by a fan in Las Vegas who asked him about the feud on an amateur video.
“Hey, I heard 50 Cent challenged you for 750 thousand,” a fan says in the video. “That’s all he challenged me?” Mayweather responds. “He gotta raise the stakes. Let him know. Do he still make music? I ain’t heard him in a while.”
Floyd had already responded on Twitter, telling his followers to “read this,” alluding to two checks for his past two fighting bouts. The total? Over $70 Million.
