Lawsuits are never fun to go through. And 50 Cent has now been ordered by a judge after the conclusion of a civil suit. The judge ordered 50 to pay about $16 million in damages to Sleek, which is a headphone company that 50 used to partner with. Sleek claims that it was set to partner with 50 on a new line of headphones. But instead of going through with the deal, 50 came out with Sync by 50, a line of headphones mechanically similar to what the Sleek headphones would have been. 50 isn’t giving in easily though, and he’s countersuing the brand, claiming that Sleek, fraudulently induced him into entering into an investment with them and breaching their fiduciary duties to him.
